Structure your finances for success was one of three concurrent sessions presented during the NCSS Leaders Program in Atlanta. Theron Trimble of the Florida Council for the Social Studies was the presenter. This presentation taught participants the strategies to examine and define your group's short and long term goals to develop an integrated annual activities finance plan. Participants learned how to establish structures within their groups to support their financial and growth plans. This included lessons on defining clear parameters of authority on expenditures of group's funds, signing contracts, and making legal commitments, reporting guidelines. etc.
