Partnerships: A Joint Venture to Success was one of the three concurrent sessions presented during the NCSS Leaders Program in Atlanta. Tom Webb of the Michigan Council for the Social Studies and Annie Culverhouse-Kruise of Association Management Resources were the presenters. The interactive presentation provided real life experiences in creating and maintaining partnerships across Social Studies disciplines and integrating other content areas to establish successful educational partnerships, such as the Michigan Social Science Alliance and the Michigan Joint Education Conference. Participants gained useful strategies for building and maintaining collaborative relationships and received examples of tools and resources.
