The Legislative Briefing session of the NCSS Leaders Program in Denver shared the latest developments regarding the reauthorization of ESEA, the state-led development of internationally benchmarked common standards, and other relevant news. Participants were given the opportunity to share legislative news from their states as well as their suggestions for next steps. Ellin Nolan of the Washington Partners, Susan Griffin, Executive Director of NCSS and Ana Post, NCSS Director of External Relations and Council Communications were the presenters.
