Accessing funds from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was one of the three concurrent sessions presented during the NCSS Leaders Program in Atlanta. Beth Ratway of Learning Point Associates and a current NCSS Board Member was the presenter. This session shared information on the funding programs most accessible to your councils from the Departement of Education, and the strategies for meeting grant requirements through strategic partnerships with other organizations. Participants gained useful strategies for seeking out partnerships that will enable them to partake in the use of these funds, as well as the tools and resources to assist with this process.
